“Jess and I share a passion for life and our planet. I first spoke out and wrote a letter of outcry about the cruelty of zoos when I was ten years old and lived in Singapore. It was published in the Singapore paper. Jess was responsible for bringing attention to the condition of the brown pelican population and his work on this resulted in them being removed from the endangered species list. But we felt like we were running around putting band-aids on social/environmental issues rather than getting to the root of what was causing them. So we paused to answer this question: What is causing these social and environmental issues? The answer: a lack of human consciousness.

We imagined a world where fear is eradicated and consciousness reigns. When that vision is fulfilled, everyone has the courage and awareness to use their creativity and intelligence in service to everyone and every living thing. Often, in ways that may have once seemed impossible. That was a vision worth living for. And so, leveraging my personal experience of the transformation that happens when we step across our edge and face our greatest fears, Vista Caballo was born.”
